(Part 1)
9 March 1968 – Advertisement property search: 50 decimal
With a newspaper advertisement in the newspaper Donaupost, the trained radio mechanic and industrial master in electrical engineering Johann Bauer sought a property for the “relocation of an industrial plant” on 9 March 1968. Already three years earlier, he had begun with the promising injection moulding of plastic parts in his hometown Hunderdorf. It should have been 50 decimal according to old Bavarian area measure at that time – about 1,700 square meters. Compared to the current operating area of the German Technoplast in Wörth of about 13,600 square meters, this was a small but rapidly growing nucleus.
