Girls are fascinated by technical professions.
Filing, soldering and plastic spraying took place at the Deutsche Technoplast on Thursday. At this year’s Girls’ Day, 9 girls were able to get a taste of the jobs of toolmaker, mechatronics engineer, process mechanic and technical product designer.
Girls’ Day has been firmly established as an annual corporate event for more than a decade. The employees involved are excited. “We have succeeded once again to arouse interest in technology among girls. Perhaps one or the other will deal more intensively with the MINT professions.” They very much liked the filing of a brass pendant, the soldering for a small light, and performing chemical experiments.
